English Conmigo started as private 1-to-1 lessons with our founder, Ali A., and grew into a small team academy with the same mission: make English learning enjoyable, practical, and confidence-building.
Ali holds a Cambridge CELTA qualification (2013) and has taught students internationally, including in Colombia and Japan. After experiencing traditional grammar-heavy learning himself, he built English Conmigo around a more effective approach: consistent practice, real conversation, and a supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking.
Today, English Conmigo connects learners with teachers who share this philosophy - helping students speak more naturally, feel more confident, and enjoy the journey to fluency.

Beyond teaching, Ali has a background in meditation, yoga instruction, and business consultancy. This unique combination allows him to help students not just with their English, but with the confidence and mindset needed to speak without fear.
