Getting Started

How do I book my first lesson?
Simply click any "Book a Lesson" button on our website, which will take you to our Calendly scheduling page. Choose a time that works for you, and you'll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link for your lesson.
What do I need for online lessons?
You'll need a stable internet connection, a computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, and Zoom installed (free to download). A quiet space where you can speak freely is also helpful for getting the most out of your lesson.
What level of English do I need?
We work with students from elementary to advanced levels. Our lessons are tailored to your current level, so don't worry if you're a beginner. We'll meet you where you are and help you progress at your own pace.

Lessons & Scheduling

How long are the lessons?
Each lesson is 55 minutes long. This gives us enough time for meaningful conversation practice, grammar work, and feedback, while keeping sessions focused and energising.
What if I need to cancel a lesson?
We understand things come up! Please give us at least 24 hours notice to reschedule without charge. Late cancellations may be charged as the lesson slot was held for you.
Can I change my regular lesson time?
Yes, we're flexible! Just let us know in advance and we'll work with you to find a new time that suits your schedule.
What's included in a lesson?
Each lesson includes 55 minutes of personalised instruction, conversation practice, feedback on your English, and follow-up materials or notes as needed. We focus on what you need most, whether that's speaking confidence, grammar, vocabulary, or pronunciation.

Payment & Packages

How do I pay for lessons?
We accept payment via Stripe (credit/debit cards). For lesson packages, you'll receive a secure payment link. Single lessons can be paid when booking through Calendly.
Do lesson packages expire?
5-lesson packs should be used within 3 months, and 10-lesson packs within 6 months. If you need an extension, just let us know - we're flexible!
Do you offer refunds?
Unused lessons in packages can be refunded within 30 days of purchase. After that, packages are non-refundable but can be transferred to another student with our approval.
Why should I buy a package instead of single lessons?
Packages offer better value (you save money per lesson) and help ensure consistency in your learning. Regular practice is the key to improvement, and packages encourage you to commit to your progress.

About Our Teachers

Are your teachers qualified?
Yes! All our teachers hold Cambridge CELTA qualifications (or equivalent) and have years of international teaching experience. We only work with teachers who share our passion for engaging, conversation-focused lessons.
Can I choose my teacher?
Absolutely! Visit our Teachers page to learn about each teacher's background and specialties. Choose the one who best fits your goals and learning style.
Can I switch teachers if it's not a good fit?
Of course. Finding the right teacher is important for your progress. If you'd like to try a different teacher, just let us know and we'll arrange it.

Do you offer group classes?
Yes! We offer small group conversation classes (maximum 6 students) which are a great way to practise speaking with other learners at your level. Check our Pricing page for details.
Do you offer corporate training?
Yes, we work with businesses to improve their team's English communication skills. Contact us to discuss your company's specific needs and we'll create a tailored programme.
